Wilkuro Composite Safety Toes are designed for anyone who must pass through metal detectors (nuclear workers, airport workers and security personnel) during the course of their work day. A composite toe is essentially the same as a steel toe, but it is non-metallic and non-magnetic. It is slightly lighter in weight than a steel toe cap, but meets the same ANSI/ASTM safety requirements as the a steel toe.

*In the interest plant visitors safety, Wilkuro Safety Toes do not accommodate high-heeled shoes. Guests should always be asked to wear low-heeled shoes when entering a plant or other area where toe or foot protection is required. Cutting out the heel for use with high-heeled shoes voids the manufacturer's warranty and any safety certifications attached to the product.

However, there are times when the business risk to denying a guest access to a plant may be greater than the safety hazard posed.
